The overall goal of our online adult dual diagnosis program is to help individuals cope with both substance abuse and mental health issues. Our online programs are designed to help individuals develop lasting sobriety and develop the skills they need to cope with a variety of mental health issues without using substances. The online programs are designed to be intensive and to supplement the individual and family therapy that a client may already be receiving. Treatment is completely individualized and focuses on the issues that matter most to the client. The online adult programs serve adults 18 years of age and older. Our online adult programs specialize in helping adults overcome a variety of issues, including:
- Alcoholism
- Substance Abuse
- Addictions
- Panic Attacks
- PTSD
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Low self-esteem
- Obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors
- Bipolar disorder
- Thoughts of suicide
- Stress from daily living
- Anger management issues

- Behavioral problems
Partial Hospitalization Program for Adults
The online program uses a holistic approach that helps clients resolve issues from a mind, body, and spirit perspective. Clients attend a variety of groups throughout the day and are provided with ongoing case management. All clients are evaluated by a psychiatrist and are provided medication management as needed. Clients also attend our 12-step-based groups in order to develop the skills they need to maintain sobriety.
Upon admission, the treatment team works with individuals and their therapists to create a specific treatment plan that addresses those problems that affect the client the most. This highly focused approach is designed to allow clients to make significant changes in the shortest amount of time possible. In addition, clients that are currently working with an outside therapist can continue to work with their therapist during their treatment at New Dimensions. This helps clients maximize their gains while in New Dimensions and helps ensure ongoing continuity throughout treatment.
Intensive Outpatient Program for Adults
The Online Intensive Outpatient Program is a less intensive option than the Partial Day Program and is designed to help clients continue to develop the skills they need to cope with life once they leave New Dimensions. The Online Intensive Outpatient Program allows clients the flexibility to be able to transition back to work, school, or other activities while still receiving support from the treatment team.
What to Expect
To be admitted into our adult online therapy programs, you must first be assessed by one of our therapists via telemedicine. During the assessment, the therapist will work with you to identify your goals for treatment and help you determine if our treatment programs are the best fit for your needs. Once the assessment is completed, you will then meet with a psychiatrist via telemedicine to evaluate your medication needs. After these assessments are complete, you will complete the admission paperwork and then begin the online treatment program. You can expect to spend about 6 hours a day involved in the Partial Hospitalization program and about 3 hours a day in the Intensive Outpatient Program. The program operates Monday through Friday.
