Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

Our treatment options include Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), both of which are available for adolescents and adults. These programs are structured to provide intensive care while allowing clients to continue with daily responsibilities.

  • Adult Programs: Our adult IOP meets three to five days a week with three-hour sessions, balancing therapeutic support with the flexibility needed for work and family obligations. PHP offers a more intensive structure, providing up to six hours of care per day, five days a week, ideal for individuals who need concentrated support but do not require full-time inpatient care.
  • Adolescent Programs: For adolescents, our IOP and PHP provide a supportive environment that promotes growth, learning, and emotional regulation. The adolescent IOP is a flexible after-school option at three hours per day, five days per week, whereas PHP offers a more immersive experience for those needing focused care to manage anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues. Both programs are after-school to ensure minimal disruption in the student’s schedule.

Each program includes group therapy, skill-building sessions, family involvement, and medication management as needed.

  • Anxiety Disorders: Our psychiatrists and nurse practitioners work with clients to reduce the impact of anxiety, using therapeutic and medicinal interventions as needed to help manage symptoms.
  • Depression: Depression treatment involves a combination of therapy and, when appropriate, medication management to help clients regain motivation, interest, and emotional balance.
  • Bipolar Disorder: Treatment for bipolar disorder includes monitoring mood swings and implementing strategies for stabilization, along with medication management to support long-term mental health.
  • PTSD and Trauma: Our team is trained in trauma-informed care, helping clients process traumatic experiences and manage symptoms of PTSD.
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): OCD treatment focuses on reducing intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors through a combination of therapy and medication.
  • Substance Use Disorders: Treatment provides comprehensive care that focuses on overcoming the addiction and developing tools to manage cravings in the future. In cases where substance use co-occurs with mental health issues, our psychiatrists and nurse practitioners offer support as part of a comprehensive dual diagnosis treatment plan to address both conditions.

Holistic and Evidence-Based Therapies

Our psychiatrists combine traditional psychiatry with holistic, evidence-based therapies, creating a balanced approach to care. Some of the key therapies and techniques we offer through our PHP and IOP include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is used to help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns, empowering them with practical skills for managing anxiety, depression, and other conditions.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): DBT is particularly useful for individuals dealing with intense emotions or borderline personality disorder, providing strategies for emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques: Incorporating mindfulness into treatment helps clients reduce stress, increase self-awareness, and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Our treatment approach is designed to address both the mental and emotional aspects of health, providing clients with a complete toolkit for managing their symptoms and maintaining a balanced, fulfilling life.
