Treatment Programs for Adolescents

Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs (IOP) for Teenagers

We understand teenagers. We help teenagers overcome problems from depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, self-harm, and other mental health issues. We help teens develop effective coping strategies, learn how to communicate more effectively, and learn how to live healthier happier lives. New Dimensions specializes in providing Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Adolescents 13 years of age or older.

Our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs are designed to help adolescents develop the tools they need to change their behaviors and effectively cope with the challenges of life. Adolescents learn to manage their emotions and impulses by coming to understand how their thoughts and feelings affect their behavior.

Our programs are family-focused and are designed to help families improve their communication and develop effective strategies to minimize conflict. The programs are Monday through Friday and last between 3 to 6 hours per day based on the needs of the teenager.

The programs are in the afternoon and evening hours which allows teenagers and parents to attend without disrupting school or work hours.

PHP and IOP services are a great alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization and are ideal for teenagers who are in crisis and need more than outpatient individual therapy.

If you have a teenager who is struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues, we can help.

Individual and Family Therapy provided through our affiliate, MHThrive

Sometimes teenagers need a professional to talk to in order to make sense of their thoughts and feelings. Outpatient individual therapy can help your teenager overcome their struggles and develop the coping skills that they need to effectively manage their emotions.

Outpatient family therapy can also be helpful to you and your teenager. During therapy, families learn how to resolve conflicts and create better communication skills.

Outpatient Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy is provided through our affiliate, MHThrive. To schedule an appointment with one of the MHThrive therapists, contact us at 713-477-0333 or visit www.mhthrive.com to learn more.
