Oppositional Defiant Disorder is characterized by a pattern of angry/irritable mood, argumentative or defiant behavior, and/or vindictiveness. Teenagers with Oppositional Defiant Disorder may show the disruptive behavior only at home or may show the behavior in multiple settings (i.e. school, home, social settings, etc.) Some of the Common symptoms of Oppositional Defiant Disorder are:
- Often loses temper
- Easily annoyed
- Angry and resentful
- Argues with authority figures
- Defies rules
- Deliberately annoys others
- Blames others for his/her mistakes
