Clients meet with a substance abuse professional in a virtual group setting 3 hours per day, 3 to 4 days per week. During treatment, clients learn coping skills, refusal skills, and relapse prevention skills. Medication management is also available for those clients who require additional help.

The online IOP at New Dimensions is 3 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week. The substance use IOP is during the evening hours and is usually 3 to 4 days per week. The mental health IOP is also during the evening hours and is usually 5 days per week. If someone is struggling with dual diagnosis issues, they attend a blend of both the mental health and substance abuse programs. While the length of treatment varies based on the issues that a client is dealing with, the typical length of treatment is usually between 30 and 45 days.
