At New Dimensions, our Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals managing mental health issues, substance use, or dual diagnosis disorders. Each program offers structured support, tailored to meet clients at their individual stages of recovery.

Our IOP for Substance Use provides three hours of therapy per day, three to four days a week, combining group therapy and medication management to help individuals establish a strong foundation for lasting recovery. Using the 12-step approach, our program helps clients develop crucial skills for sobriety and relapse prevention. Aftercare services are available to offer ongoing support as individuals move toward greater independence following program completion.

For those managing mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously, our Dual Diagnosis IOP offers three hours of therapy per day, five days a week. This program integrates mental health and substance use treatment, ensuring a comprehensive approach that fosters sustainable recovery for individuals facing co-occurring challenges. It includes group therapy, medication management, and individualized care to support progress in both areas.

Our IOP for Mental Health supports clients in managing symptoms of mental health conditions. This program, offered five days a week for three hours per day, provides a consistent therapeutic environment that helps clients develop coping strategies, emotional regulation, and skills for improved mental well-being.

Additionally, we offer Virtual IOP options for adult clients who prefer remote care. These sessions offer high-quality therapy through secure online platforms, allowing individuals to access support from the comfort of their homes while remaining engaged in the recovery process. The Virtual IOP is available to adults who reside anywhere within the State of Texas.

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program in Clear Lake, TX?

Who Can Benefit from an Intensive Outpatient Program?

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is ideal for individuals who require consistent support but want to maintain their personal, professional, and social commitments. IOP is particularly beneficial for those who need more intensive therapy than weekly psychotherapy sessions but do not require the 24-hour supervision of inpatient care.

For those moving from a higher level of care like residential treatment or inpatient programs, IOP serves as an ideal step down, offering continued support while transitioning to more flexible outpatient care. Through our IOP programs, individuals are provided with a structured and supportive setting that enhances their healing process while allowing them to continue progressing on their recovery journey.

IOP is a great option for individuals who prefer being near their support system. By combining therapy with everyday life, clients can directly apply their learning to real-world situations, creating a more sustainable and seamless recovery process.
